Mix and Match Recipe

A energetic look to start the week with strength. I'm so excited, my collection is almost over, I just need to finish some details and it's done, so soon I'll post a sneak peak of it. And we also know the exact day of the show, it's going to be the Friday 31st of May at 20:00 in my university ESNE and the entrance is free, until the capacity is full, so you are all more than invited to come and be a part of such an important moment for my classmates and me. Last week we had our model casting and it was so exciting to finally see our clothes on the models. Hope to see you all there, save the date.

Un look cañero para empezar la semana con fuerzas. Estoy súper contento, mi colección está casi acabada, solo quedan rematar pequeños detalles y ya está, así que pronto subiré un pequeño avanze. Y también se la fecha del desfile, el viernes 31 de mayo a las 20:00 en mi uni ESNE y la entrada es libre hasta llenar el aforo, asi que estáis todos más que invitados a venir y formar parte de un momento tan especial para mis compañeros y para mi. La semana pasada tuvimos nuestro casting de modelos y fue muy emotivo el por fin ver nuestra ropa sobre modelos. Espero veros a todos allí, guardar el día.

City Jungle

And here we are again, wearing denim on denim, I just love how it looks and it seems like I'm wearing a jumpsuit, right? This time I wanted to make it more wearable adding a grey jacket, instead of all denim. I totally love the contrast between the light and flowy fabric of the jacket (well, it is a dress from H&M women section, but I use it as a jacket...) and the rigid and hard denim. On top of that, the cherry pie, my New Era customized cap. Have a great week!

Y aquí estamos otra vez, un look vaquero total, pero me encanta y además parece que llevo un mono, ¿verdad? Esta vez lo quise hacer más ponible con esta chaqueta gris, en vez de todo vaquero. Y la verdad es que me gusta el contraste entre la tela ligera y con caída de la chaqueta (bueno, es un vestido de la sección de mujer de H&M, pero yo la uso de chauqueta...) contra la rigidez y dureza del vaquero. Y para terminar, la guinda del pastel, my gorra de New Era customizada. ¡Qué tengáis una buena semana!

DUYOS F/W 2013-2014 Backstage Video

Reserva Fall/Winter 2013-2014

Remember last edition of MBFWM, when I helped the designer  Juan Duyos with his fitting? (if not click here). Well early this week, the video came out, a new vision of what you don't usually see, the backstage. Endless hours of models fittings, the nerves, the emotions, finishing touches, the hope that everything turns out as good as expected or even better. And then the show, the music stars, the first model walks down the runway and the chaos begins. Pure adrenaline, heels races, changing outfits, a stucked zipper, don't panic, last check, go down the runway again, then the carousel and you hear the applause. The shortest 15 minutes of your life, everything went flawless. The designer comes in, full of happiness, and that's how you know you did a good job and breathe again. Personally, I enjoy more being backstage and feel all those emotions.

¿Recordáis la última edición de MBFWM, cuando ayudé al diseñador Juan Duyos con su fitting? (si no haz click aquí). A principios de semana, se publicó el video, una visión de lo que no se suele ver, el backstage. Interminables horas de pruebas de ropa, los nervios, las emociones, últimos retoques, la esperanza que todo salga igual o mejor de lo esperado. Y entonces llega el desfile, suena la música, la primera modelo sale a la pasarela y empieza el caos. Pura adrenalina, carreras en tacones, cambio de look, una cremallera atascada, que no cunda el pánico, última revisión, vuelta a la pasarela, el carrusel y escuchas los aplauseos. Los 15 minutos más cortos de tu vida, todo sale perfecto. El diseñador entra eufórico, y allí es cuando te das cuenta de que has hecho un buen trabajo. Personalmente, disfruto más estando detrás y sentir todas esas emociones

Hey Guys! A quick post of my outfit of the day wearing my new bag that I got from eBay. I loved it when I first saw it, loved the envelope shape that it has, I thought it was quite interesting and unique. I wore it with a very dark neutral look, adding a pop of colour with my NB and also my Maison Martin Margiela for H&M necklace.

¡Hola a Todos! Un rápido post sobre mi look del día con mi nuevo bolso, que compré en eBay. Me encantó cuando lo ví, me gustó mucho la forma de sobre que tiene, pensé que era muy interesante y único. Me lo puse con un look neutral oscuro, añadiendo un toque de color con mis NB y mi collar de Maison Martin Margiela para H&M.

Longweekend here in Madrid, working and relaxing. Nothing better than a walk in the countryside to breath fresh air and disconnect from the rest of the world, for a while. Here I'm wearing my new 55DSL tee that I got from Asos, recently discovered this brand and love their printed stuff, which reminds me that I have to do a new Spring Haul of the things that I've being buying recently.

Puente en Madrid, trabajando y descansando. Nada mejor que un paseo por el campo para respirar aire fresco y desconectar del resto del mundo, por un  rato. Aquí llevo mi nueva camiseta de 55DSL que compré en Asos, descubrí la marca hace poco y me encantan sus estampados, lo que me recuerda que tengo que hacer un post con las cosas que me he comprado para la primavera.
